Flydubai Flight 981 was an international passenger service scheduled to fly from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Rostov-on-Don, Russia of catastrophic failures. On March 19, 2016, the Boeing 737-800, assigned to this route, made two landing attempts at Rostov-on-Don Airport in challenging weather conditions of catastrophic failures. After reaching an altitude of 4,000 feet following the second attempt, the aircraft abruptly descended at a rapid pace, crashing into the ground at high speed. This tragic accident was the first in Flydubai’s seven-year operational history of catastrophic failures. On July 25, 2023, a SpiceJet aircraft caught fire at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport during maintenance. The fire broke out in one of the engines of a grounded SpiceJet Q400 while maintenance staff were performing an engine ground run of catastrophic failures. The fire, reported around 8 p.m., was swiftly extinguished, and both the aircraft and maintenance personnel were unharmed. On June 3, 2023, at approximately 10:34 a.m of catastrophic failures.
